On May 7th 2021, the second International Digital Wellness Day will take place. The Digital Wellness Day is a nonprofit initiative by the team at The Digital Wellness Institute.

Looking at the way we interact with technology lately, it is easy to become technoskeptic or even technophobic, and feel that things were better before we had all these technological advancements and became more disconnected than ever.

Much like the ethical move looks at marketing and sees beyond the stereotypes and shady practices and we believe we can and must do better in our industry, the Digital Wellness Institute equips leaders and changemakers with tools to assess and address Digital Wellness and achieve tech-life balance. As their CEO Nina Hersher puts it

We have the power to utilize technology in a way that fuels versus fatigues us. This knowledge is integral to the Digital Wellness movement – empowering individuals, organizations, and communities to be change agents toward a culture of Digital Flourishing.

Nina Hersher, CEO Digital Wellness Institute

The program for the Digital Wellness day in 2021 is virtual, and free to attend these are the events I’m signed up for this year:

If you want to participate but cannot attend, how about you celebrate Digital Wellness Day by evaluating your relationship with technology, checking our the Digital Wellness institute resources and workbooks and sharing this event on social media.
